Annual Advent Art Show Event
CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS OF ART
CASH AWARDS
Awards for 1st, 2nd, 3rd and Audience favorite
This year’s show will revolve around the themes of Blessing, Loss, Exile and Return, and will be exhibited in our sanctuary during the four weeks of December.
Submissions Guidelines:
Art show is open to artists of all ages and all mediums are accepted.
All flat artwork should be matted or framed, artists are responsible for setting up their display with easels or stands for flat artwork.
Artists with 3D artwork requiring table space must submit the demensions with their entry form. Large pieces will need to be pre-approved for space availability.
Artist will be responsible for the shipment, transport and pick up of art
Artist should submit an Artist Statement which will be read by the judge and displayed at the show
Artist should create work based on the themes of blessing, loss, exile and return
Artwork must be originals created by the artist
All submissions are due no later than December 3rd at 5pm
Artwork will remain on display in the Grace Episcopal sanctuary during the month of December. Pieces can be picked up on Sunday January 6th and 13th from 4:00-6:30pm or by appointment. If you do not wish to pick up your piece, The Potters House welcomes donations of art.
To enter, please email Jamesburke2@gmail.com with the following information:
Name, address, email, phone number and description of piece. Please make note that you will have to provide 2 copies of the Artist Statement when you drop off your submission (be sure to include the name of your piece on the statement).
Deadline:
Entries must be dropped off at 341 Washington Street, Traverse City MI 49684 (the Grace Episcopal Church office) by Wednesday December 3rd at 5pm.
